Polcompball Anarchy Wiki

Status:  On hold

Hello people at Miraheze,

I am writing this report today to let you notice some of the more obscure things that are stationed on the Polcompball Anarchy wiki. As you probably know, Polcompball Anarchy is already a very controversial wiki, with the wiki being inherently political, and many supporters of extremist ideologies, such as communism, anarchism, and (formerly) fascism being present. However, the reason I have written this message are these two pages.

Both of these pages are fanfictions created by a user and moderator on the site known as Afunhumaninter, and both of these "stories" support the torture and even death of another user. While it appears the other user may have had views that could be hateful against LGBTQ+ people, I am unable to confirm if this is true, and I am also definitely unable if they still believe in what is portrayed on the fanfictions.

Additionally, after doing a bit of research, the user that is being tortured and killed in the fanfictions above had apologized for their previous views, and had evenly stated they felt like they had rightly been banned, likely for their past beliefs. (Reference Page: Steward requests/Miscellaneous/Archive 1#Page Deletion on Polcompball Anarchy Wiki) This ultimately means it is very unlikely for them to still harbor the same ideas.

Either way, no matter who it is, and no matter if what the perpetrator of the fanfics is saying is true, making fanfictions that advocate the torture and killing of a real person is evil and wrong, and it also clearly violates the Conduct section of Miraheze's Content Policy. However, it does seem like this is only done by one user, and obviously an entire wiki should not suffer if it is only one or a few of the users or even moderators that act against the content policy.

While the entire wiki should not be banned, I feel like justice would be served if Afunhumaninter and potentially other moderators and users that were involved in the creation of these pages, if they do not remove those pages and comply with Miraheze's guidelines, would be banned, or at the very least have their rights revoked from the wiki. Obviously, people that commit crimes should not go unpunished, but at the same time mercy should be given.

This concludes my report, thank you very much for listening. FlydiniPresent (talk) 07:03, 29 January 2025 (UTC)

The linked examples, while clearly satirizing behavior of a problematic user at the time it was written, are certainly on the borderline of our content and conduct policies. However, this is a matter in which it is pretty clearly against local rules (https://polcompballanarchy.miraheze.org/wiki/The_Rules), specifically "No pages which directly insult, target, or harass other users or other wikis." Other local administrators can and should be engaged first - it does not appear this has yet been done. Please return this to our attention if the local administrators decline to take action or retaliate if this is brought to their attention. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 05:40, 5 February 2025 (UTC)

"Balls.IO" is a rip-off/fork of my personal project under the name of "Kugeln.io"

Status:  Done

Hello, I'm Kugeln.io, the bureaucrat and owner of the Kugeln.io Wiki Project, today I was informed by an anonymous source about the existence of a very alike Wiki to mine own (reference link: https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Main_Page), in fact, is owned by an individual that I banned (https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/TFAGaming) from my project for external reasons, but he used to attack users in the game under other names, and harassing them with racial and gender slurs towards them, he denied the proofs provided by other individuals, and he remained with his words putting him against the wall, It seems that this user created this Wiki in retaliation of what the user claims "an unfair ban" , my complaint is made in the fact he is grabbing information that is also present in my project, and is claiming to be "the Official Wiki of the community/game", when we had that title since a long time even before this Wiki was created (Wiki seems to have been created in February 1), also I'm considering the fact this user allows other users that were banned in the Official Wiki, and it's seems to be intended to work as a "refugee place" and for people that personally don't like me just for keeping an order in my community, I would like to invoke to the Miraheze team to investigate this case more further and take a decision against this individual and his Wiki, as he is trying to take credit from my work that I made from scratch together with the community members. Also considering this Wiki violates the Miraheze Content Policy, that doesn't allow forks of already existing communities in the platform, also considering that this Wiki allows users that have been involved in indirect/direct attacks regarding other individuals of the community, that goes against the Miraheze Global Conduct Policy to don't allow those type of users being on a wiki, and the users here had been known for using racial slurs in the Discord server (citing: https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/JN23 https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/Umayyad_iraq and the owner itself https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Special:CentralAuth/TFAGaming), and making articles that had biased information. I would appreciate a successful response from the Miraheze team, thanks for the reading and your time. Kugeln.io (talk) 07:03, 6 February 2025 (EST)

"Balls.io" is a synonym of the game "Kugeln.io", that means "Ball" in German, there is people that have personally said to me that is a basically a way to evade to use the same name as mine project, as is already taken, this article for example: https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Players (theirs) is a copy paste of the article that I have on my project: https://kugelnio.miraheze.org/wiki/Players (original), its obviously the same game, even they main page points the game in which the Wiki is aimed for "Welcome to the Official Kugeln.io Wiki (the same introduction we have on our wiki clearly remarks the website they are referring off) user or visitor! We are excited to be finally open to the public and see you all creating and editing articles. You can check most of our articles produced by our dear members and collaborators, and we encourage all of you to create a page or edit one, with useful and interesting information, that will leave a mark on this small but amazing community!", https://ballsio.miraheze.org/wiki/Levels (theirs) this is another example of a rip-off of the same article on my wiki, https://kugelnio.miraheze.org/wiki/Levels (original), this same user has cut all form of communication with me since I banned him from the Discord server and the Wiki, this user is just trying to take information from an already established Wiki. The name of this wiki just works as a fachade to this project. Kugeln.io (talk) 08:20, 6 February 2025 (EST)

No need to add more, as it is well clear. Give the Stewards time.  Kind regards,   Rodejong   💬 Talk ✉️ Email  📝 Edits  יהוה   Auth   01:54, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
If you guys need something like proofs of those individuals acting not accordingly or anything else I can provide them, overall I would like to have an continent response for both sides for settle this matter, have a good night. Kugeln.io (talk) 02:23, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
No need. A cursory review makes it clear that this is an intentional and undisclosed fork of the original project. The wiki has been closed accordingly and provided datadump of their contents should they decide to take the project outside of Miraheze. --NotAracham (talkcontribsglobal) 18:02, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
Appreciate that, NotAracham, by the way, if there any possibility is this user tries to create a new Wiki on another hosting platform (related to the MediaWiki project), I would end in the same outcome?, or I should directly contact to the administrators over that Wiki hosting instead. Kugeln.io (talk) 23:04, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
A volunteers perspective: Our content policy states that no wiki on Miraheze and WikiTide (WikiTide Foundation) or any project of the Wikimedia Foundation (like Wikipedia) may be forked on Miraheze. We have no control over other platforms as they have their own policies. If you see him create the same wiki elsewhere, you need to read their policy first. If they allow forking, there isn't much you can do, other then asking nicely if they'd consider removing that wiki from their platform, explaining that a banned user is impersonating your wiki and the community as his own.
But it's up to them. There isn't much you can do, even if ... from the perspective of copyright law ... you're in the full right to complain about it, when he doesn't attribute your work ((cc-by-sa)).  Kind regards,   Rodejong 👥talk🗄️edits📝mailauth👮rights … 00:54, 8 February 2025 (UTC)
Steward response: Our volunteer teams do not do outreach to other platforms in the case of offsite forks, it will depend on those platforms' rules as Ro mentions whether a request for removal is agreed to.
As for Miraheze, as a general rule, for larger offsite wikis we personally do try to do some due diligence to confirm the community's earnest intent to migrate and that the project will not be a 'spite-fork' by a banned user.

Oh ok, appreciate both responses! , I just had that question in my mind, thanks for the information, you two have a good one. Kugeln.io (talk) 02:58, 8 February 2025 (UTC)

There are matters relating to the infringement of my rights on Gufeng City's website.

Dear Miraheze Team,

I apologize for the disturbance, but I can no longer tolerate the ongoing issues related to the Gufeng City pages.

Since July 2024, multiple pages under Gufeng City have contained fabricated narratives based on factual events, severely damaging my reputation. I filed complaints via Tencent QQ to the site owner "IShihara," but the infringing user "Alirak" continues his activities unabated. He has even inserted non-objective descriptions regarding IShihara-related incidents on certain pages. For seven months, unable to contact Alirak directly, I was forced to endure this situation – until yesterday, when I reached my breaking point.

A user with IP address 240E:47C:E0B8:216B:4C54:43FF:FE31:C95F recently created a page titled "牛局长", written in an accusatory tone that distorts verifiable facts about my actions. Through investigation, this IP address has been linked to Alirak – both traceable to Guangdong, China. (I know Alirak is located in Guangdong because he disclosed this on his Tencent QQ profile.)

To summarize his misconduct:

  • All edits completely omit Alirak's own wrongdoing, even deleting negative information about him.
  • He refuses to acknowledge his role in creating this situation.

He fabricates rumors about me, building his reputation in Gufeng City's Tencent QQ groups while destroying mine, reducing my standing to its lowest point in these communities.

I write this email seeking fair judgment from the Miraheze team. These matters should no longer plague my life. Ironically, even when attempting to type "google.com," the moment I enter "g" in my browser, the auto-suggestion "gufengcheng.top" forces these painful memories to resurface. What should have been fond recollections have become sources of anguish due to his malicious actions.

Thank you for your time in reading this message. I sincerely await your response.--NiuBoss123 (talk) 10:09, 17 February 2025 (UTC)
