Welcome to CheckUser requests!

This page can be used to request that a Steward conduct a CheckUser investigation into sockpuppetry or abuse of multiple accounts.

Please compile and present any evidence that would help with this and ensure you are reporting abusive behavior: CheckUser is a sensitive tool and we do not use it lightly. Include as many references as possible such as overlaps in editing styles, grammar, edit summaries, or even SocialProfile data and any other tells that make it clear there is an issue to be looked into further for confirmation. Failure to do this may result in delays or a decline.

Reason(s): The wiki doesn't have many editors. Recently what seems to be a very young person started making edits at rather fast pace, a lot of them contained errors, were nonsensical or removed content with little care put into it. A very short temporary block was placed to inform the user of how to contribute. Even though the preventive short block was to last 6 hours, user has started creating accounts to circumvent the block. The same pattern of behavior continued to happen - large amount of activity on talk pages, editing similar pages, editing pages related to their previous accounts (Doggo43). With the last of their accounts SuperSarPup user has engaged in forging signatures of other active users under their own RfA, changed the User page of another wiki user to call another user an idiot. With what I assume is the last account of theirs (NeroPlays) they've requested in talk page of an image for character previously made for SuperSarPup to use the image for their account. In addition there are other less obvious links such as always editing from mobile device, same (full of grammatical errors as well as typos) style of writing. I'm sure the newest account is just a sock but still figured it would be good to do a CheckUser request. FriskyGoat (talk) 01:07, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

SuperSarPup, Doggo43, Taylor1234, Taylor123 are confirmed sockpuppets. NeroPlays doesn't match the IP range but the User Agent matches and along with behavior makes it very likely that he is also a sock. The accounts have been globally locked for abusing multiple accounts. Reception123 (talk) (C) 12:03, 19 February 2025 (UTC)

Known sockpuppeteer A1cb3 uploads mainly paintings and mainly notables and Royals. Account was created 2 months after A1cb3 was banned from commons.miraheze. Uploads images as if they are legit, but doesn't listen to the things pointed out to him on the talkpage.

A1cb3 is sysop on Trashwiki, and PancoPinco has Trashwiki as the only non-official wiki attached.

Both have used italian sources, and likely both are in Italy.
